At Plexal startups and corporates come together to design and create the connected products that will improve our lives. Our community collaborates together in state-of-the-art environments; driven by the pulse of design, technology and enterprise. We offer services that inspire vision, empower businesses to scale, and ultimately weave a legacy.
Here, we help companies perform on an international stage, and we are connecting the UK’s best to forge a lasting footprint on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Plexal will initially take 68,000 sq.ft. of the most connected building in Europe and work alongside companies big and small who are pioneering new technology within their fields. Together, this community will create beautiful and connected products designed to improve all areas of life from Sport and Wellbeing to Fashion and IoT.
We will offer a full range of services including bespoke accelerator and corporate innovation programmes, practical entrepreneurship courses for post-graduate students, prototyping facilities, a suite of back-office & professional services, financing options, and a state of the art technology lab. These services are designed to support entrepreneurs scaling their businesses, as well as helping corporates realise and incubate new ideas.
All of this, situated in a beautiful, flexible and healthful working space, amongst an active community focused on making life better through technology.
At full occupancy, the centre will connect up to 800 members and organisations, and has capacity to expand; scaling firms into other space across the estate.
Plexal will help preserve and enrich local assets and strengths, including the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park sporting facilities, the manufacturing and creative heritage of Hackney Wick, East London’s entrepreneurs, and internationally connected corporates.
Our ambition is that this centre will be where chain reactions begin; a node for tech companies coming to the UK and home for British-based businesses looking to forge internationally. Plexal is set to open fully in spring 2017.
